All players reloaded. Two players were stuck outside the battle area on the right hand side, where the Madrigal was previously standing. One player spawned into game arena.

All players rejoined the Brood battle and killed all the winged creatures
Nothing happened.
After a time (around 2-5 minutes) the blue wall that prevents access into the battle arena disappeared
Players exited the area and re-entered, but could not trigger the battle again
Could the fault be replicated?
No, because it’s locked. However, when entering the same battle arena, we noted our health/stamina bar became visible. When we tried to interact with each other, it said we couldn’t because we were in combat. This information is likely important.
Things we tried:
Exiting game and rejoining
Exiting game and rejoining from last Whisper visited
Travelling to a different realm and then back to the broken one
Prayer
Swearing
Prayer and swearing
Suggestion:
Would it be possible to incorporate a boss over-run timer, whereby if a boss fight is triggered, the timer starts. If the timer is greater than 30 minutes, reset the boss fight as if it were never triggered. This acts as a failsafe in case of ongoing boss battle locks.
My group and I are also experiencing this issue. We do not want to start another realm due to the many.many.many. hours we’ve sunk into this realm. It’s a great game, but this bug where the final boss phase 2 doesn’t trigger due to the respawn stuff has made us all yank out patches of hair in frustration. I would love to provide whatever files I need to to get this patched and fixed. We really want to finish the campaign and start getting the torn sinew to upgrade our stuff. Was this supposed to be mitigated with the latest patch that had come out allowing us to decorate our house and duel people? Those features are cool - but with this happening to so many people I figure a blocker of not finishing the game would be a big priority to get resolved.

My setup is the same as the others. We had a party of four trying to do it. Hard/fun battle where we all died and the battle didn’t end. We respawned at the whisper and the battle was still going on. We finished killing off the phase 1 brood and phase 2 never triggered. We’ve all tried all of the troublehooting listed here with the added steps of yelling at the screen, cursing the gods, and making up new four letter words. Please help?
As per the above, we’re having the same issue. I’ve already uploaded all the necessary files in my previous post above. Think my post may have gotten glossed over.
@Silas-Inservio-Pax any news on this? I’m still trying to keep the gaming group together on this but I’m losing them to other games because we’re stuck.
@Silas-Inservio-Pax I’m just back for my weekly check-in to see if there’s any resolution. We’d really love to complete the game. I know you’re a mod and not the dev- but I’m hoping you can be my squeaky wheel to try and get this resolved.
The exact same thing happened to us during the boss fight. My character died, and I brought them back to the Whisper of the Cavity, while my companion finished the first phase. However, the second phase of the fight never started. For a week now, we haven’t been able to progress in the main quest; the arena remains empty except for the bat corpses from the first phase, but everything else works normally. Thank you in advance for your help.
Is there any chance this will be resolved? I keep seeing positive messages about this game and releases/updates. I would love to be able to finally finish it with my friends. @Steve_Jewer@Silas-Inservio-Pax Please?
We’ve sunk so many hours into this realm that if I suggested that they would never come back. I appreciate the reply from you. I wish the developers would just reset that battle for me like they have for others.
