Small update – with a little patience it does finally work. If I hit Continue and then just sit there for about 5 minutes, it eventually does connect and can play as normal.

Good day, I would like to report a string of issues I had encountered in NRFW for the past few hours I’ve been trying to play. When I booted up the game, I encountered the Entering Realm bug where realms won’t be loaded and I am stuck on this loading screen. After exiting and reseting, I encountered a new bug where I can’t get past the loading screen after the logo. Instead I have an infinite red loading circle. After some resets, I either get the red circle bug or a black screen but I can hear interaction with the game menu as I press ‘Esc’ key. I troubleshooted by reseting the PC to no avail.
I did get a fix by updating my graphics driver. On the other hand, game now won’t connect to the internet and claims I am offline.
This has been a confusing and painful payment of time as the game was just working fine, with a little bit of server desynchronization, just yesterday. Hoping for advice on this matter. Thank you
Update: I reset my PC one last time and finally got the game to connect to internet.

I’m in France an I have the same problem. Game is launching but I’m stuck at “acces to the realm”. I’ve try to desinstall/reinstall and others tips I found online (except the vpn thing) but nothing work. Hope it ll be fix soon !

My son and i were clearing a pestilence outbreak we summoned upon death i get an infinite loading screen now. I can log into other realms just not our share realm. And when my son went to pestilence boss it showed in brine dungeon so he went down ladder and then it dumped him under the map in water and now he drowned but cant respawn
Try to click the “Steam” menu in the upper left corner and click “Go Offline …”
This should also be a temporary solution for a local realm to work.

Yes, taking Steam offline is a temporary solution for now. It works for me. Hope to play Co-op soon though!

Hi Michael, let’s unpack this.
Can your son try the “continue from last whisper” option in the Realms tab?
For you, could you try to connect with the shared Realm via VPN?

My character will not load into my realm. The realm tries to load for about 2 minutes before it crashes back to main menu. I can load a new character into my realm, so I am guessing it is my character that is the issue for some reason.

I am experiencing the same problem here as everyone else, I am online when I open the game, but as soon as I click continue or trey to join a real, either nothing happens and the red sphere appears or I am stuck endlessly in “entering realm” and that is for a local realm

I’ve bought the game and checked every day and spent 60 minutes just seeing if it would work, i’ve been experiencing the same thing all these users have been experiencing. Unable to join realms and then when i try to refresh and join a different realm it’s stuck on preparing realm. When might this issue be fixed, with the next patch or? Thank you.
