[Combined] Label items Favorite/Junk + buy back option

i’m necroing this thread.

i m actually using a pair of boots with 4 infusions. i still slam enchant gear but i m always so scared of slamming my boots since it keeps appearing as an option.

Hello and thank you so much for this amazing game. You guys really make magic happen. I really enjoy playing it and will surely spend many more hours in this magical, beautiful world. My problem is that I’ve already lost several equipped weapons with a level of +16 because I accidentally destroyed or sold them. Please block weapons that are equipped or equipped. What you’re doing is fantastic! Thank you so much, ExStru

hey there,

thanks for the suggestion, i moved this here

In games with equipment and high loot/gear collection the situation to inadvertently sell equipment can occur. There are currently no systems in the game to reduce or counter the event of selling equipment/gear. Recommend adding function that equipment/loot can be “locked” preventing option of destroying or selling that equipment/gear/loot without “unlocking” first. Additionally, locking should prevent extracting runes or gems unless unlocked first to prevent inadvertently doing so when mass extracting loot. Add UI on weapons/armor that are locked with small padlock symbols. (Example: Destiny 2)

Recommend adding for selling or destroying high end gear an “continuous input” to complete transaction. This would apply to Masterwork weapons and Exalted Gear. Example, press and hold “sell” and 3 second bar ticks down to complete transaction since high end gear aren’t typically sold or destroyed without careful review by the player considering upgrades into the item. (Example: Destiny 2, red filling bar of time to dismantle)

Option in vendors currently to sell equipment while in loadout/equipment. Typically, players don’t sell active used items and seem like potential miss-click to destroy important items. Recommend when pressed to sell or destroy equipped items for popup to say, “To sell or destroy active gear, first unequip gear”.

No feature currently in current build of game for buy back of recently sold items, this feature is common in other loot/equipment-based games. Recommend adding either 1.) tab at vendor for buying back last 10 sold items or 2.) Add vendor/shop who only sells last 10 items sold. Buying back items could have interest making them more expensive to buy back than what was sold. Any player wanting to buy back any items mistakenly sold would likely rather pay with interest than lose item completely. (Could make vendor in Sacrament ghetto like {Larry’s “Appropriated” goods} who suspiciously has all your last sold items)

Yeah, this almost ruined my run.

I absentmindedly removed a gem, which destroyed my main weapon I’ve been developing for my whole run.

Managed to “save-scum” by stopping my Steam from syncing my save to the cloud and then pulling from the cloud, but it made me lose two hours of progress.

Maybe a way to solve it would be to somehow declare the weapon is fused with the gem in a more spiritual way, where when separated the weapon is useless until reunited with the gem it was fused with. Same result, but you can undo it.

I’m hoping the add a “Favorites” or “Save” to the Inventory section. I’ve seen countless posts of people deleting the Cerim Armor by accident. My case was some decent enchanted gear or weapons. It would be nice to implement this option to the game. I’ve seen it in so many other games. I tend to keep particular weapons or gear sets on me to try out the new spec I’ve change to. Only to sell off something when cleaning out junk drops. Haven’t read or seen many people remarking on it. After so many runs of the crucible, one can tend to brain fart and make my mistake.

True, in addition, some filters would be nice, such as showing only armor or weapons, or showing only unenchanted gear. This would make selling your items a bit easier and prevent those accidents.

a lock feature is sorely needed as is a “junk” feature

this has been suggested multiple times, see here:

Nice, let hope this can be added in future patch or updates.

Hey :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

As per my knowledge, Adding a “Favorites” or “Save” option to the Inventory would definitely help prevent accidental deletions of valuable gear. It is easy to make mistakes when managing inventory, especially with all the different items we accumulate. A feature like this could save a lot of time and frustration for players who want to keep their essential equipment while cleaning out less useful items.

I hope this will help you.

I agree with this all! Being able to favorite or lock items we want to keep or enchant later would be a great addition.

I need to lock my gear. I accidentally enchanted a white item while bulk enchanting. Request to add a lock to the gear to prevent accidentally selling the item or enchanting it.

yes,I sold a weapon with a perfect enchantment entry by mistake , that do realy break my heart.

I would also add a colorful edge to differentiate the weapons, sometimes i have 3 weapons, or 3 piece of armors with the same exact drawing and i have to constantly go and check. If there was a colorful dot randomly assigned to each of them i could remember to compare the 2h sword with red dot with the two hand sword with green dot

yeah,me too that’s so annoying (T-T

this. Absolutely this. RIP my perfectly infused Narwhal tusk!

buy back option should be considered if so many are facing this issue.
