Haven’t played in months, but returned to check out the patch.
But the combat suddenly has a floaty feel to it imo.
Could be me has something changed with regards to combat?

TBH, I think this game has some of the punchiest/most visceral combat I’ve ever played. Haptics on the PS5 controller adds really satisfying feedback.
I couldn’t hold the combat in higher regard. Some of the best I’ve ever experienced.
well good for you man, But I am used Soulsgames, Vermintide 1 and 2 and Darktide for example. And compared to them I feel this is very floaty imho .
It wasn’t an insult lol. Just a disagreement.
I love souls games and they are certainly weighty in their combat systems, but in my OPINION, NRFTW is more punchy and visceral.
Enemies react to your actor(character) in a much more polished way than souls games.
Are you playing KBM or what controller are you using? Do you have Haptic feedback on?
kbm, controllers are not my thing.
I feel the same way after this update.I don’t think it’s a game design issue, it feels like the I/O latency is greater than before, and when it’s intense, I feel like some of my inputs are being swallowed, causing me to start repeating keystrokes now, but I have no proof of that, so I’ll just have to see.
