There is a cloth (?) wrapping around my character’s body. How do I get rid of it?

Make sure so that your character isnt standing in the Wind i guess? 
I’m fairly certain this is only happening to me in the crucible, but I’m not 100% sure it can’t happen out in the world. I’m using the Spherin staff and it seems that as I kill enemies and receive echos I’m getting a building visual bug that goes from looking like a flag hanging from the staff to me being engulfed in a full blob of cluttered graphics. Honestly makes playing the game quite hard so it would be sweet if I could fix this lol. I’m new and don’t exactly have the resources to build another staff like this yet.

Also it seems that as soon as I leave the crucible the visual bug just dissapears.
I believe this is only visual, but it is pretty crazy. Starts out looking like this at first and then progresses. And when I move the shapes all rotate around me lol.

Can you verify installed files?
Do you have any mods installed?
Is this always triggered, or does it go away for example if you completely unequip all your gear?

It only has occurred on 1 character who is using a staff. After maybe 5 minutes of play you start to see what appears to be a cloth attached to the staff. As you play it gets bigger and bigger. Can’t get back in the game right now but will try to repeat the issue tomorrow.
No mods. I will try swapping gear in and out and see what happens. I clearly starts with the staff and grows from there. Kind of hard to play when you can’t see your character.

Screenshot shows staff used, Cursed Crone. At 11 minutes the “cloth” connected to the staff can be seen. It continues to grow. Unequip the staff and no cloth and re-equip and cloth gone but comes back about 5 minutes later. Made a new Cursed Crone staff and same thing happened. Equipped a wand and no problems.

Awesome, thanks for testing this! I will let Moon know about this as well.
For now, I can’t recommend continue playing with Cursed Crone, you will have to temporarily equip another one if you don’t want to have this problem.

Hey NerVe, I’ve merged your post into this one since this seems to be a thing specific to those two staves you both have, wrapped with a cloth texture.
Let’s hope it get’s fixed soon!

Thanks. I haven’t done thorough testing or anything. Just switched to an Endless Winter staff and haven’t had the problem since. I did keep the staff though if you need me to check something. I have no mods installed.
