Changing equipped items in inventory screen

I may be missing something, but itd be nice if there was an easier way to switch between equipped weapons on the inventory screen. Regarding two different weapons I had in my main hand slot, It seems that I had to unequip it and requip it, or exit out and use the weapon toggle on the left D pad, in order to change it. Basically I was trying to rapidly switch between equipped weapons on the inventory screen while viewing my weight and messing around with my other equipment… but it wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be
