When joining a realm with a new character, there is an infinite loading screen for joining the realm and if you exit you just get the option to join the realm again from prologue, this can never be completed.

what do you mean with Exit?
He means pressing escape on the infinite loading. My friend has the same, he did the prologue like 10 times and still has no option to play the main game after

This is correct. You do the prologue, and then are just stuck in an infinite screen. No matter how many times you do it, you canât join.
Also have this same issue. I have reported in another bug thread.

This is the furthest Iâve been able to make it. Have verified integrity of files. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Tried the various startup commands. Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Tried turning off FSR and setting a frame rate. Nothing is working.

My friend is having that exact issue. We made a Realm a few days ago and now he has done the Prologue like 5 times and still cannot join us. It just loads him into the main menu instead of into our Realm.
Also having this issue, AS WELL AS character only have âprologueâ when trying to join a realm. There is no option to skip prologue.
When going through the prologue, and not skipping any cut scenes and going through all the motions on the prologue, we get stuck at the the forever loading screen for Entering Realm. The only option is to alt f4.
We only have prologue available for joining realm. Have done the prologue 10plus times trying different combinations of offline steam mode, online, creating and deleting characters, creating and deleting new realms.

Something could indicate that youâre using an older build?
In the âPropertiesâ of the game in Steam, try to go to the menu âGame Versions & Betas. If the build âcrucible_legacyâ has been enabled, then there is only a prologue mode in the game.
in properties, crucible_legacy is not enabled. Still only showing prologue for trying to connect to a realm, and playing thru the prologue hangs the game when the prologue is over. It doesnât proceed to the main game/ beach opening area.
The build on the top right of the screen shows 26973 for what im assuming is a build or version

This did NOT resolve the issue. The game was not toggled into crucible legacy
Hi Michael, can you show a screenshot of your Realm tab?
You should see this:
If you do not see that, can you confirm you are experiencing this with a new character and a new Realm?

Good to know that this wasnât part of the issue.
But I still think itâs another kind of issue youâre experiencing, because many of us cannot play any type of realm without either having Steam set to âoffline modeâ or using a VPN.
If I understand correctly, you can play, but only the Prologue mode is available. And after completing the Prologue your game is stuck in the realm loading text, waiting for the non-existing Story mode?
It also looks like @Michael_Groom was able to play the game before that issue appeared.
@Silas-Inservio-Pax Wouldnât it be a good idea to split this thread into two?
- Stuck at âEntering Realmâ - afterwards having played before
(Firewall solution, Crash reports, ⌠etc.?) - Stuck at âEntering Realmâ - without having played before
(VPN/Steam offline solutions / No crash reports)
NOTE !: I can think of an exception to the idea above. If the issue with a VPN/offline solution has to do with certain ISPâs, then it would also be possible for someone to have been able to play while using an ISP earlier, until then changing to another ISP later on.

Hold Windows key + R, put this in the prompt: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Moon Studios\NoRestForTheWicked\DataStore
open your AccounSettings_LOCAL.dat file with Notepad, or Notepad++ for example and look through the file (hit Ctrl + F) for ProloguePlayedOnce
Set it to True
Launch the game, and if you want you can turn steam cloud on again.

Please everyone here.
- Start a new character and new Realm, donât share the Realm and start the prologue that way.
You should be able to join any Realm afterwards (including online Realms).
If that doesnât work for you, try this:
- Turn off steam cloud
