This happen on together update and it seems i can’t backstab enemies hold great club or great hammer even they have the same size
I think it’s a bug more than intentional nerf from can’t backstab big enemies anymore since most of them use great club as well

This is late but I’ve inquired about this.
The mace Fallen One there is considered Elite, as are a couple more. You don’t know it until you found out you can’t backstab.
For those elites, bring them into stagger state first, then you are able to backstab.
I’m moving this to feedback.

Elites always have weapons infused with an element.
