Indeed, there have been debates on this for a while now.
Personally, I’m of the mind that the Crucible should be layered like a Rubix version of Tartarus.
A never ending, yet ever changing challenge, where only death can set you free.
- Essentially, falling into one of the “bottomless pits” simply moves you to a different floor.
Further, in the lore of the Crucible. The “Knight” is supposed to be hunting you.
Yet it waits at the end of each run.
I’d love to sit down with the devs and flesh out the Crucible.. but as stated in my last topic (Realm of the Silenced) I think much of our complaints are already addressed on internal builds.
