Hello there. I often get challenge to kill 12 knights. They used to spawn at “The Black Trench”, but after completing some quests, torn humans started spawning there. What other locations can they appear in?

Its a daily challange, called “Blood for blood”.
Ah, Knights of Tanth are enemies with red iron helmets, all very knightly etc.
If you walk inside a map you can quickly see if this faction is present! (by looking at the top right corner)

Every map can spawn any faction, it’s just rng.

The main problem with this is that sometimes the entire map doesn’t spawn a certain faction. And then doesn’t again, after 40+ minutes waiting for creep back. It’s one of the things I’ll be writing about in my feedback post later. I figured I’d just tap on it here though, since someone else already said it. I’ve lost that daily quest every single time so far because I haven’t been able to find a single Knight of Tanth anywhere.
Also, it did take me an embarrassingly long time to realize the factions were listed in the area of the screen that you mentioned. Perhaps a tool tip could come up the first time you accept that type of Challenge from Captain Randolph? I know popups can seem invasive, but there’s quite a lot going on in NRFTW, and lots of new players could use more on-boarding to have a smoother experience.
