Hi, as a suggestion, I think it would be a great idea to have a basic weapon of every type of them, it could be crafted/purschased, so we can easily decide what type of build we want.
For that I mean that for weapons like for example: short sword, long sword, axe, spear, a staff or a wand, simple weapons that allows us to play with what we want to, even if it can be “bad” weapons to use on late game.
I take the idea from monster hunter, where you can build the base weapon, and then we could loot better weapons during the game.
My problem was that I created a dex build thinking of using a katana… But never looted one until endgame. So i ended up completing almost all of the game with the “pig sticker” or some spear.
I mean, they work nicely, but not the ones I wanted.

This problem will be partially solved when the randomization of the game will be decreased in 1.0
If the blacksmith sold more weapons and projects for the earlygame it would be better
Another way to partially solve this problem is to give the ability to lower the level of a weapon so you can pass it on to the new character without worrying about the level being too high.
