Backstab often times does nothing

not even an attack. I also realized that sometimes dark templars and even the huge monsters from the windmill lake sometimes just have their ai stopped or just do nothing and walk off into a random direction until they start to attack you again

I take it you mean it does not do any damage? Or is there something else broken there?

For ai broken enemies I could really use a screenshot, so we can identify the monster in question :wink:

hey, oh no when i press the button it neither attacks nor backstabs. and i have to release the button and press it again to be able to attack.

it feels like my client thinks it is doing a backstab but the server denies it as the backstab on its timeline isnt possible anymore. maybe add a grace period.
i also got the feeling that the backstab icon appears too late. because you can backstab enemies even before the icon appears.
it just happens too often that the icon seems to disappear just the moment you press the button and that is annoying.

especially when giant one armed cage man for example can only be backstabbed not from directly behind but from behind his arm which is a ~30° difference. which is kinda fine i guess, but to many of those weird unknown factors push the backstab mechanic into the “too annoying to deal with” territory.

I also got an issue with the balak taw as they are a bit too hard to backstab. their window seems to be way shorter as others. which might be fine, because of progression but there are times where i can backstab them as easily as regular enemies and then there are times where the icon appears for just a nano second^^

Oh that sounds bad, yes. Any video or clip of this? Would go a long way!

When this happened/happens, are you in Live build, solo in Experimental or Coop in Experimental?

solo experimental, and nope dont have a video. and im a bit too tired to deal with it right now. sorry bud if today just werent the last day of the beta :wink:
