Would it be enriching if say, it only did this on full perfect harvests, or harvests where you got at least one perfect?

Its painful when trying to farm wood or ore having to see that slow pickup animation 2x on every… single … node. Suggest just removing it entirely for node mats.

Resources should be auto picked up like fishing, I agree.

Yeah, especially when the explosion sends the resources to a place you can’t reach.

Just pretty much the title. I see this was brought up quite a long time ago and was never addressed. It’s a minor thing, but it’s definitely annoying looting the wood and copper off the ground every time.

Yes, I second this. After playing for a while, the need to pick up items off the ground after harvesting is mildly annoying.

The issue is, it’s already a feature with fishing.

In the “Together” patch, they increased the visibility of resources to pick up. So it seems clear that wood and minerals was a choice to pick up the items.

It is tedious that we have to pick up wood and minerals, and the only time it shouldn’t be auto is if our inventory is full.

100% for it. Picking woods after you’ve been chopping damn tree for half minute is really daunting. Same applies to digging. It really makes me “oh not again” and discourages from building anything.

Playing the game 2nd time after switching and this aspect of resource gathering is very annoying .

Here is another.

I am pinging these because I was about to make a post about this.

My main point is that although Thomas has hinted/stated that there will be unique tools that will have the autopickup on them, I think that having to pick up ore and wood after doing the minigame is just too tedious and a unique tool is not an adequate solution. I think Wood and Ore should be an autopickup all the time.

my back is old, my doctor told me that bending over is dangerous, i can’t pick up any ore/wood, how do i progress ?

i need auto pickup, i got a doctor’s note!

NPC’s farming for you would be great!

Especially b/c the current facet system is so @!*$ing tedious and resource hungry.
