Armor doesnt always reference your armor, sometimes it specifically means body armor

I’ve ran into this a couple times now, but when the word “Armor” is referenced, its usually in reference to your equipment that makes up the defence stat. However sometimes it ONLY refers to body armor, and there isnt really a clear distinction. It would be great if, when the game specifically referred to the body armor, it would say Body Armor or “Body” rather than just “Armor”.

I dont have a ton of hours in the game and dont really care to make an exhaustive list but here are some that I’ve noticed a lot so far;
-Armor is used in reference to all defense-providing equipment in the scribe table (and presumably crafting? I havent touched crafting outside of food yet)
-Body is used in reference to Body Armor in the scribe table
-Armor is used in reference to the chestpiece when you have an enchantment you wish to apply to your equipment
-Armor is used in reference to all defense-providing equipment when selecting a chests storage type
