Is this a bug or what? I alt+F4 when I immediately died from Echo Knight due to frustration, and then when I continued, I respawned at the entrance of his stage.
I did it again to see if it would work the second time, and it did work for the next 6 tries. This allowed me to beat Echo Knight and not go through the weak mobs.
It’s gotta do with how the game saves in timed intervals I believe.
Technically not advisable to keep abusing this as it could result in a corrupt save file. Lots of things that can go wrong when you pull the plug while memory is being saved.
These are my two cents anyways. Personally I’d rather not risk my entire progress on a hunch.
