I cannot stand the look of the armor I found with good starting stats for building my character. However, it takes too long to replace it. I would love the ability to either transfer ALL stats to a new piece of armor or wear a cosmetic piece of armor of the same type. Such as cloth for cloth, plate for plate, etc… No mixing. No replacing weapon skins at all. But perhaps having a more fantasy look to the weapon based on statistics on it. Such as blue for ice, purple for plague, red for physical, etc…
Have you infused weapons yet?
They literally do this already. If you are big on drip - you better be ready to grind. That is the ONLY way to get a set you love. There is NO REST.
Transferring ALL stats is also too easy - especially with enchantments considering the amounts of loot already thrown at you in end game. An Essence ember solves a lot of this. Just be more intentional with what you hang on to.

I am max level with infused weapons and near perfect stats, but the armor is hideous. Therefore, I would like to make my character look appealing without spending 100 hours. That doesn’t seem like a tall ask to me.
As for transfer of statistics, sure, you can transfer them, but, only one. I have items with 4 perfect stats that look terrible because I could not find a good looking armor with the appropriate facet.
Here is why we should be able to move ALL stats: Exalting
If you exalt items, which is arguably too easy to do, you likely will not get the optimal stat bonuses. So, to try again you have to find another item, put all the stats on it, get those stats leveled up (VERY time consuming), and then exalt.
If I could transfer my 3-5 stats from an exalted item to a new base and retry exalting it, that would be ideal.
A potential pathway for this could be that for each NG+ you finish, the statistic transfer item covers 1 additional statistic. Meaning that you would have to complete NG+4 before you would start seeing drops that could transfer all 4 good and 1 bad stat between items.
If you say that is too easy, then it is just that you have way more time to play than I do.
