Whether it be holding triangle/E/Y to move forward in the crucible, heal aura spell, or turning the crane like objects through out the game; I am unable to keep the button held for more than a moment before the game automatically releases my hold.
It appears to be directly related to the network symbols popping up. I do not have this issue in my private realms.
I surprisingly seem to be the only one with this issue!
Hopefully I did that right! This video highlights exactly whats happening but for respawning. Keep in mind every hold command acts like this. Also you can see me physically stuttering to the time of the network icons.
If you have any recommendations on how to improve my connection I’d love to give them a try. I have fairly good speed and a solid router.
It is pretty wild! Just using a ps4 controller currently. The E button on my keyboard does the same thing.
Huge update though, I was able to completely avoid the issue earlier today by what I thought was updating some network settings in windows (switching to private).
However near general peak hours of internet usage I again was plagued with the issue! After doing numerous speed and stability tests I’m virtually sure this is all connection based as my connection became worse off.
So, maybe not the game at all, maybe this game is a bit more sensitive then others, but I feel I’ve been dealing with this issue for awhile and just now really noticed!
Got a new router on the way, and a call is planned to my ISP!
This is exactly what’s happening to me! Every time I walk I like jump back then forward or try to respawn by holding E it takes like a minute because the bar jumps forward and back. I can’t pull the cranes because of the same reason. I’m on PC in a multiplayer world.
I’m genuinely so sorry but I’m still extremely confused how to get these files to you. If I go to the place that page says they are the folder is empty and if I go via steam it takes me to a different place with a folder called NoRestForTheWicked_Data is that what you need? Either way here is the clip of how I’ve been moving in game attached below. Sorry I can’t figure this out.
