After handing in challenges it resets other challenges

I accidentally put 5 iron ore in because I thought I had ten. Went to search more and completed other challenges. When I went to hand in a different challenge all the other challenges reset and the 5 ore I had already put into the other challenge was gone after I accepted it again.
