This could be a feature or a bug. But when using absorption embers to transfer one enchantment to another piece of gear I discovered I can’t absorb a blue enchant item and put it on a purple. Or vice versa. Feature or bug?
Thats because magical and plagued items have diffrents enchantments or values.

PS: although i dont rly understand why, since theres lots that are exactly the same, but yes, this is, for now at least, intended.
Yeah note the color of the text on the resulting essence ember - it will be blue or red.
Part of the reason is that certain enchants only appear on plagued gear. Being able to take it off plagued and put it on non-plagued would remove the trade off of having a negative enchant. Before together update, plagued gear also gave higher maximums than blue on the same enchant - usually 10%. That’s not true anymore though.
