I think this is worth its own topic, so here i go:
so they are arriving at the from soft solution. the problem with food or eating then is, that you can block yourself from healing properly when you only eat ingredients. (taking a heal out of 5 max, a fix then would be making it dependend on current max life, dont know if thats the goal here… could also be iffy depending on how you can change max hp between heals)
I think for me it would be nice if we could arrive at the valheim/from soft solution, meaning food grants buffs, but flasks grant heals. im fine with snacks regenerating health/focus over time but arent usable for immediate danger but rather on a journey or maybe prolonged fights.
Meaning:
Flasks: instant heals
Snacks: small regen over 1/2/5 minutes (or even buffs for short duration, like attack, defense?)
Meals: buffs to Health/Attack/Focus/etc over an hour or so
I support. I also think that eating Ronald’s hamburger in battle is not a good idea. Looks a little strange. Also, adding healing potions will make alchemy more in demand; at the moment I don’t use it at all and sell everything related to it.
