About death by fall

The fall damages are very high in this game.

But in end game, when we have a big big armor, and stat, I can resist very well against enemies, but I have the impression that the fall damages and the death by fall remain exactly the same. Like in a lot of other From Software, Soul-like games…

The fall damages are independent of the armor and stat ?

yep, I’d assume fall damage is tied to its specific formula, i.e it does not factor in armor or your characters stats, which, IMHO, should be the way to go.
Though if they want to introduce some verticality-heavy scenes they could introduce rings or gems to help reduce fall damage.

I feel like there should be a window where it leaves you with 1hp rather than kills you as easily as it does. There’s been several of my crucible runs where the enemies don’t kill me, my character ends up falling through a floor, or not grabbing a ledge I’ve grabbed 100 times, and then they die and the run is over.

The Crucible’s most feared enemy, ledges :joy:

(most my deaths are due to this as well)

after my analysis, the armor is very important, the more armor you have the more chance you have to survive : and sometimes I can survive with just a little HP… especially useful during Crucible.

But when it’s a fall in a “no go zone”, the game is programmed to provok death, like too far in the sea, or in a cliff etc

Fall damage in this game makes zero sense.

I die over and over jumping off ledges in Mariners Keep that look like you should survive.

Meanwhile, I’ve fallen off the very top bridge in the bridges Crucible level and survived with like 5% life. Which is probably about 3 or 4 times higher than the aforementioned spots that kill me.
