Beautiful game! I was wondering if in the future it would be possible to sheath/ holster our weapons once in Sacrament to add to immersion? I always feel awkward in games moving around safe zones/ towns with our weapons drawn like we’re ready to ice an NPC that looks at us funny lol. I know this could be considered low priority, but just asking. Thanks.

Swords and knives could be placed in holsters, axes and maces hung on the belt, perhaps spears, staffs and halberds could be held by the character in one hand like the city guards.
second this, I know if every weapon type needs a sheath animation that’s a lot of work but this could be worth it for immersion
I think it would be absolutely amazing if you could sheathe your weapons! I always feel it adds to the immersion of the game, especially in a rpg environment such as you are crating. The game has already pushed so many amazing boundaries already, and I really feel weapon sheathing would add to the experience.

I rhink this is a fantastic idea especiay just having a sheathed weapon in town. Show it off on your character still but i agree you dont need to be battle ready in sacrement lol. The “training guy” also comments about having your weapon out. Great suggestion!
agreed especially Katana. they need to do more animation on that.

long swords too dropping sheath animation look cool as hell
for great swords it will be more realistic if they drag them on the floor
If it is possible, and this could be alot of work, but a scabbard (and an maybe option to sheath) weapons would really add to the immersion.
That will also open an opportunity for quickdraw attacks (iaijutsu) on katanas in the future.

I am a new player, and I love immersion. The game is already extremely immersive, but I would love to see an addition of weapon sheathing, or some form where you can put away your weapon without the need to take it off through the equipment screen.
I would also like an option to resize the UI, as sometimes I play on my phone using remote play, and the UI elements tend to skew off screen.

currently the game doesnt have anything binded to L2/LT button, this led me to idea that the game is lacking weapon sheathing feature and holsters, it could be implemented for better immersion inside Sacrament or showing other sloted weapons on the character’s model.
also i thought about utility between 2 slot and 3 slots on the main hand. 2 slots allows you to loop between 2 weapons to make different combos, like honed frenzy running attack and then bow’s running attack to disengage

while with 3 slots you will not be able to do this quickly. maybe adding an option inside inventory to turn off the third slot for main-hand and off-hand could help with this
also my brother punished me for messing the combo, shown on the gif. and he killed the dummy in our realm
but it is a bug report related stuff and i cant really share any logs since im playing via streaming. unfortunately the settings, other than graphics one, doesnt save after each session but otherwise its playable
Literally created an account to give another +1 for this. I absolutely love the art, atmosphere, and story of the game. But it totally breaks immersion to wander around a town of peaceful people with my giant fucking sword ready to cut them in half lol
I know that we can swap to an empty set or unequip weapons. But I don’t see why you can’t just hold a button down to emulate the “unequipping” your weapon animation, and then hold the same button or attack to “equip” it again. Don’t even need new animations
Seems fairly easy and would go a long way for immersion. Same goes for adding an option in the settings for showing/hiding your helm

I was incredibly happy when the Dark Souls developers in the new Elden Ring allowed the player to sheathe weapons and holster them behind their backs. This game is sorely lacking this feature. I’m not sure how easy it would be to implement, given the sheer variety of weapons and armor. This has probably been discussed before, but I just want to point out that this kind of implementation makes the game incredibly cool!
I love the game. Incredible. Just some immsersion suggestion:
- able to sheath weapon in town - you made a geat work of delivering the feeling of “safe inside the wall, darkness crawl outside”, please strengthen this by let my cerim not cayying its big sword in town.
- for archer fantasy: missing quiver on back, and some bow animation, missing arrow when firing - I think the short bow, during attack animation, the arrow is not attached until at the end of the attack animation. Please review it;
- Fishing animation minor bug - the fish float is not really within the fishing point.
