Hey Everyone!
I reach 100h+ game time recently and i played NRFTW since the beginning of the early acces. The breach was a phenomenal content and love it . Thank you for this. Yet i have some frustrations remaining. I gather 8 ideas that could “easily” implement in game and which could greatly improve the experience.
UI
-
The shading on the map each day (in game time) is for me very frustrating. That entrave lisibility of the world overall especially for those like me who love explore every corner. That should be an option.(a shortcut option integrate in the map menu). In some other games i like to study longly the detail of design of the map (NRFTW is one of my favorite design btw).
-
Different color of loot sprite on ground. For example white for consummable and common object item, monney. The actual blue for gear, and a new orange/yellow sprite for quest item (keys etc..) and unique gear. This change could motivate player to go get the loot and justify some level design puzzle mechanics.
-
More options for showing numbers on health bar, focus bar, stamina on top left. We need more precision.
GAMEPLAY
-
Make assignable item shortcut like in some souls game. in combat selection of item its a pain with this scrolling menu. We should prepare our fight upstream. Until 3 slot ( unlockable with ichor blood ? )
-
A True training Area. I think this one is coming but yes, it’s urgent and necessary for testing runes, moveset, optimisation gear etc etc..
SIDE CONTENT
-
A Barber in Sacrament and in each big town. He/She could be save in a side quest like the alchemist in the early game? Unlockable haircut and pilosity ?
-
A complete codex. Actually we have a menu for our recipe and stuff but we need a waay more complete logbook. (item , ennemies , critters , area description , characters) . This is a big one for a completionist like me and the lore descriptor
VISUAL/VFX
- We need a Visual Effect and title design when we defeat a boss. Actually I don’t feel like I’ve overcome an epic ordeal when the boss is dead. That could be a huge reward feeling after a hard fight.
