Going to keep this request simple. I saw that the game is coming out into 1.0 so I am hoping this may just be added, but wanted to throw my spiritual +1 at it in case before its too late.
I just wish to see a block option for two handed weapons. I feel like this isn’t a crazy idea or controversial. There is even an unused slot or something iirc on heavy weapons for it. And its just strange to me you can’t, especially seeing how this is kinda like a souls game(not to try to diminish the game with comparisons. You can block with heavy 2 handed weapons in something like elden ring, why not here? I really love this game and just want to enjoy every weapon in it.
I fully stopped using the 2 handed weapons after trying to for several hours and was quite disappointed. They were just too slow and fully outclassed by one handed weapons, magic wands even did too. Obviously it would have reduced blocking power and maybe you could build the weapon up to have decent block eventually with the I think runes or enchantments they were called. Something like that idk. It would be cool.
I hope you’ll consider this option before or by 1.0. I seriously love your game, its awesome. Hopefully this post is alright and doesn’t come off crude or anything.
