Wicked Together Feedback + Huge Thanks to MOON Studios

To begin with :Thanks for being able to share some Feedback again! I will just give my opinion on some things we have experienced no matter if we talked before about it, or if it got reported before. I won´t talk about bugs

Let`s start with

Positive

1.) I was skeptical at first, but the stamina wheel for digging, fishing, mining ore & chopping wood is amazing! - So much more intuitive and helpful as in the live build
2.) In the closed Beta i was against friendly fire, but it is insanely well done how moon balanced team damage and enemys on Path of the Unspoken Difficulty. Combat felt much more strategic than before & one has to actually think when to attack and how to slain our enemys. -Huge Thumbs up for that!
3.) Scribe Table → no idea how to live without it, made the gear grind so much better & motivates me to get the perfect gear.
4.) UI Changes in General (Show Health, Focus, Stamina, Poise Numbers, also Health Points in the healthbar), (being able to change the FOV to be a bit nearer to your character)
5.) Elemental Changes Plague → Lifesteal is great, also Bleed and Thorns added is really appreciated
6.) Armors HOLY SHIT you nailed that one! - The Fashion and drip is so real. The new Armors they added are so cool. please Keep this unique style!
7.) How housing and chests work is spot on in the Together Update, worked perfectly for us. But would it make a difference to also be able to upgrade Whispers from your chests? (Unlocking Fast Travel)

Negative

1.) Reroll Limit on Embers. I don´t like Thomas Philosophy, that getting the perfect weapon should be a journey, because Right now RNG kicks in hard and it is not possible to get the Weapon you desire.
Let`s make an example for that:

Goal:
I want a Soul Thresher Scythe with
Festering Facet (Plague)
Cursed Enchant
Gain 4% Health trough charged attacks
& Lifesteal Gem 12% 
+ Healing increased enchant 

that means
• get the facet you like, while crafting the item (really low chance to get festering for plague enchant, but only possibility to get it, because they removed elemental enchants, and i don´t want to waste the gem Slot for this)
• get the right enchantment (cursed 30% Chance)
• reroll the enchants that you wanna have with a limit of 10 (cursed weapon) to get the enchant you want (see above)
• hope that the exalts hit the right enchantments

Even with only one enchant i wanted to get this was NOT possible with over 100 Embers and tons of scythes.
AND it`s just not fun to farm boar hoofs all over again..

I know that Thomas teased changes to the ember system but still wanted to say that again.

2.) Regarding farming please add a tag to the map, which enemys are currently in what area. Would have helped/ fastened the progress a lot to farm my boar hoofs (instead of fast traveling to the whispers and to take a look if Boarskin enemies are there)
3.) Please let us revive each other in Crucible, it is not a great feeling, when you die and cannot even spectate and wait for your friend in the Atrium without being able to do something
4.) Would also be nice to add some more Whispers into Sacrament. Maybe one at the Watcher and when 1.0 arrives more Whispers in the Extensions of Sacrament. The City is so huge my friend really complained about walking to the testing dummys from the marketplace. Or add dummys to the marketplace to try out runes and attacks.
5.) Rune acquiring is still hard. Didn´t really find many for two handed weapons. Maybe a Merchant for them in the future? - or Eleanor also selling a few for weapons (and not only Seneschal)
6.) Make things like changing ability points, Upgrading the town instantly, cleanse pestilence, seperate from the crucible. Especially because they removed the echoes that you can instantly reach Chamber V. It isn´t that great if you are forced to Play crucible for that.

Further Wishes

  1. Add more offhand magical weapons → I want to shoot a bit magic without being forced to grab a wand
  2. Make Two Handed weapons also usable with One Hand. Like DS3 they have a different movement set and deal less Damage → but you are able to use your offhand item without unequiping the two handed weapon
  3. Shortkeys for Rune abilities (for example let us replace normal dash on Button “A” [Xbox Controller] to Focus shadow dash) just makes sense when using a legendary ring (Use Health instead of Focus) so that you don´t Need to press two keys
  4. LAST WISH , as absolutely Reaper and Scythe Lover, PLEASE I BEG YOU make a Bone Legendary Scythe and revive the Reaper Class again!

Best Co-op in Decades!

I saw several elemental damage enchantments. They are more rare than before, but they are definitely still there.

Are you sure you were swapping the right category? The enchants are in several categories.

I’m pretty sure they will be adding a bunch more. There was a recent dev chat where they talked about some necro ones they were looking at.

I’ve just gotten in the habit of yoinking the ones I like for later use. (Though I really only like a couple.)

No reason for that. I expect the removal of stat points and putting in classes (and weapon leveling) will be the next big patch. I’m hoping that will hit around April since they say they can work faster now that they are independent. If they don’t make that, then I think it’s unlikely we’d see launch in 2026.

Maybe it’s just me, but even the longest update is no biggie. I just get it next time I play instead of right away. I don’t need it right away. :slight_smile:

Dual wield in the traditional sense doesn’t exist.

You can use a wand and melee with it. One build I was working on was a Cleric, maining a wand (instead of a sword blade Paladin type build). It worked fine.

Plus, if you do what I do, and only ever have 2 main-hand slots, you just tap to change, tap to go back, repeat. Super fast, 100% guaranteed if you tap it you are going to/from the right weapon. (Opposed to 3 or 4 where you’d need to multi-tap to get to where you want at times.)

Also, that would require a whole lot of art re-coding.

He probably wants a barbarian/marauder fantasy where you dual wield greatswords or greataxes.

I could have sworn one of the new classes was going to have traits to allow just that. Would be pretty cool to sell that class fantasy.

Alternatively, they can use some of those 1H sword models that are already pretty large instead. It’s all about having that visual variety to present your character exactly like you’d like.

Either way, I do indeed want dual wielding sabers/katanas at some point, not just daggers.

I could see that, but this isn’t Diablo where a sword swing is a generic thing. Each weapon has i’s own animation and timings. It isn’t just A, B, A, B, and reverse the coding with the off-hand. That wouldn’t work. They’d have to create specific different move sets and animations, which is likely why the dual daggers and gauntlets are a single spot, the move set has to be intentionally designed and tuned.

I agree it’d be cool to grab a straight sword and then dagger or shorter sword, or even an axe or hammer, to mix and match dual wield options, but I don’t see that happening.

I think dual wield greatswords/greataxe should be its own marauder animation set, and same for dual katanas/sabers, yes. Dedicated movesets for these types of DW.

I don’t think anyone is asking for Diablo here. Dual-wielding greatweapons predates Diablo. World of Warcraft fury warriors, and before that your typical DnD.

It would be nice.

I think it would be a good idea if friends instead of being teleported to the Atrium are reborn when you move to the next room.

Death in the crucible is meant to be more punishing than the rest of the game so this would have more sense than the usual method.

Basically, they exist, you just need to buy the house in a strategic location, and then teleport to the house.

The mannequin should probably be a piece of furniture that you can place in your home to reduce the comings and goings even more.

In my opinion the Runes should be caftable.

Have already been “announced”, The devs talked about Orb a while ago, talking about off-end weapons, so something like this is in their plans.

They probably won’t do it, it would require a new moveset for each weapon.

It would make a lot of sense, especially for those who have a controller with extra programmable buttons.

Legendary weapons do not exist, only Unique ones exist, you have to imagine them more like “Ashen” weapons of Elden Ring not as legendary weapons, anyway It seems like a good idea.
