If you’ve changed system time to skip forward for whatever reason that could be one of explanations.
I cheated and now i bricked the game…
Yeah I get it, i messed up and this is karma! Regardless I really like the game and would like to continue.
So I read that you can change the “ingame” time by changing the time setting in windows, So I did cous i rarely get to play saturdays.
I changed the time to spawn the “rare” npc. Now My game/character is bricked and i dont get dailys och vendor refresh anymore. Been bricked for 5 days now.
I tryed starting a new realm also, dont work so I assume it is the Character thats bricked.
Any help to restore this misstake would be great.
“edit” I have tryed a full reinstall.

go to AppDate/LocalLow/Moon Studios/NoRestForTheWicked/Datastore.
the realm save file name starts with “Realm_” , you can open them with a text editor and check the update time.

Well, thats the case for me. I indeed changed my systems time. Is there any fix to that?
Looking at realm save file it has “updatedAt” entry at the start. Could try changing that to current date if it’s out of sync. But I haven’t played around with time skips, so no idea if that’s what it does.
Can find saves in %appdata%\LocalLow\Moon Studios\NoRestForTheWicked\DataStore
Otherwise making new realm and moving your stuff over shouldn’t be that hard.
Hey everyone, I was playing the game and I wanted to try the glitch that gets flinoy (or however you pronounce his name) to spawn whenever you change the computer settings.
It worked and i got some stuff but the bounties changed aswell.
I thought this was good so i did some and changed back the time. It reverted to the original but now I can’t get any daily bounties or challenges. Is this a results of me using the time changing system or is it because I did the bounty after I used the glitch and didn’t change it back before i did them? I’m very much confused and I would be grateful for some answers. This technically would also be a bug in my opinion but idk.
Since I wanted to build faster, I changed the computer time, but now the bounty quests and challenges won’t refresh, begging for an official fix to this bug
Update: the issue has been solved after i connected to the game after the last registered in game date as the user Trinity1722 was implying.
It’s been days since last I cleared the upper mountains of Nameless pass for resources and the area doesn’t seem to be reloading with new resources at all. Been to almost all other areas after and even those have replenished.
Not really sure what to do to continue getting the resources I need (mostly wood).
Hve you ever edited your game/save files at any point for say..Finley?
I have not edited any safe files, however I did change my computers date to check who Finley was and what he was selling, could that be it?
Timers in the game are set based on your current system time. If you forward your system time and play a bit, the refresh times might have been set to a date x hours after that.
You might want to look up how to edit the timers on your save file.

i am facing same issue here as well, the NPC Grinnich has not been refreshing its shops daily since 5-6 days ago and doesn’t seems like its gonna refresh on it own without Dev checking it out.
I just realize today my realm resources such as tree, mining rock, buried soil, and mobs not respawning, not sure when did it happen. i saw some other mobs and tree at other area which i just killed and collected but not sure if they will respawn or not, or they might just not gonna respawn after this.

I just log into the game after the patch 2 update, and i realize my Grinnich NPC bug still persist, the shop is still not refresh and my Danos town upgrade bug(which is on another post) is still exist as well.
Appreciate if the dev can take a look into it, and some of the resources such as tree, buried sand is not refresh as well.

This is more of a PSA as I think I messed up and can’t find a solution so far.
If you change your date/time to a Saturday in the future and your realm does an auto backup while playing during that time, when you change your date/time back to normal, your realm will not auto backup anymore because it is not 10 minutes from the previous backup.
The auto backup will not work until 10 minutes from the date/time you changed it to and your realm made a backup.
So now I’m playing on my realm with no way to make a backup and only able to use the continue feature.
Does anyone know a workaround? PSA; Dont be like me!
I was using it to try to obtain all items and armor sets for images for the wiki.
As much as I’d like to mark your reply as the solution, I don’t actually think it was very useful.

I did end up finding a solution:
Navigate to:
%appdata%\LocalLow\Moon Studios\NoRestForTheWicked\DataStore
In the folder there will be a numbered folder, if there’s more than one look at the date modified. In that folder there’s be files that start with “Backup_” and end with “Slot_0”, “Slot_1”, etc.
Open the game to the main menu and delete the backups one by one. After deleting one, navigate to your Realms and check the backups. If it wasn’t the correct one, undo the delete and try again. You need to go back to the main menu between each delete.
Some notes:
- As far as I can tell, Slot_0 is the top-most backup when selecting your
realm. - Date Modified doesn’t seem to be reliable for finding the backup you want removed. I’m guessing because the file name gets changed when the slot number changes.
