Unlimited resources quantity. WHEN?

How long are you going to be hard-locking the players, purposely limiting in a brutal way what we can do and what we can’t?

Why can’t we do gather all that we want to have a stash full of food and consumables?

What are you waiting for?

It is so difficult?

Can any dev give me a reasonable explanation for this, which is a popular request from players who want to enjoy this game once and for all?

So you want to have a “creative mode” do I get this right???

I don’t know if call “creative mode”. Just it’s early game and I don’t any space since the week 1. And yes, you can craft things along you gather, but… You end up with the same lack of space.

If there is a crafting system, why we can craft anything because the insane hard-lock to this system? Just erase the gather and crafting system or get it free. Jesus, it’s not the most difficult part of design in a game. One stash, buy tabs. Problem solved. Anyone could play the way they want.

I will never understand why the devs of all the games seem to be very bothered by us players having fun and when they see that happening they begin to take actions to stop it from happening. It’s unnatural.

Ah Ok so you are asking about storage space?

Myabe try to be clearer… so people can follow you. The way you write it is not really helpful

Something like this:

I am really bothered by the stack limit of items. I am a player who does not like organizing items. I would prefer if we had unlimited item stacks, and also just a single chest where everything is collected.
Thank you.

I don’t know if i understand the problem here? You can buy a house (now even earlier as before Patch1) and pump it full with chests.

Since i have a house i do not have any inventory space issues at all.
Especially since Patch1 which also introduced Vendors and Crafting stations taking resources from storage.

Please enlighten me, what exactly is the issue?

Inventory limitations are a design choice that may or may not be necessary, but if the dev decides, that they do not want you to run around with pockets full of buckets and brooms, then i respect that. As long as there are options, and we have those.

Don"t know why but your comment reminded me of George Carlin’s “house is a place for my stuff” skit lol!

I do not understand the housing system as a mass storage system, but as a home, aesthetically and with a cosmetic purpose.

The problem is that if you like to go through the maps over and over again, you are killing and at the same time collecting consumables and weapons and at the same time you are collecting things like trees, herbs, ores… And I love doing it to be able to craft many things and use them as part of the combats, to make them a little more unique or simply to cook more meals and have them for each crucible run.

Since I cannot have more than 20/25 pieces of the same item and the amount of things I collect is exponentially greater than that, in the end I have bought three houses and two of them only contain stashes filled to the limit. The result? I can’t pick up anything anymore, so I had to stop playing weeks ago, since I can’t use the game mechanics and just killing in a continuous 1v1 bores me and doesn’t cause me any interest.

i somehow get that hoarder impulse, but let’s be real. Do you really need all that stuff you presumably have stored in 3 houses? I regularly sell shit i don’t use or need. I mean do i really need 20 Axes with the same stats? Nah, not really.
And if u just can’t overcome your hoarding instinct why not store items in another realm?

I mean if it is as you say, you already have basically unlimited resources, so why collect even more?

Aside from that, there is a thread already about removing stack limit in chests.
