[UI/UX Suggestion] Visual indicators for Rune Extraction vs. Rune Removal at the NPC Eleanor

Hello Moon Studios team! First of all, thank you for the incredible Early Access experience.

I have a critical user experience (UX) suggestion regarding the interaction with the Enchanter (Eleanor) and rune management. Currently, the interface relies entirely on text to distinguish between two actions with completely opposite, permanent consequences.

This text-only confirmation makes it extremely easy to misread and accidentally destroy a valuable weapon when you only intended to remove a rune (or vice versa). I believe many players (myself included) lose hours of progress due to a split-second misclick on the wrong text option.

The Problem:

As shown in the image above (the current state), the confirmation box for “Extracting” a rune (which destroys the weapon) and “Removing” a rune looks identical, save for the text.

My Suggestion:

Add a visual representation of what is being sacrificed and what is being kept. A simple, clear preview panel within the confirmation box would eliminate all ambiguity at a glance.

Here is an example concept I created:

This visual aid would:

  1. Instantly communicate that the Weapon is being sacrificed (the big red X and red text).

  2. Confirm that the Rune is being recovered (the green checkmark and green text).

  3. Prevent tragic accidents, especially for new players or those playing quickly.

This small visual update would dramatically improve the QoL and safety of the enchanting system. Thanks for considering this feedback!
