You’ll need to pair it with a jade ring to make constantly using the running attack feasible. Since it shoots five arrows, depending on your stamina, it is either stamina neutral or stamina positive when all your arrows hit. Using the sky based rune attacks is great as a counter attack since you will always be in melee range. Remember that you can parry and backstab with bows. It’s a really fun play style and makes the twinkling short bow feel very unique among the bows.
Note I am also using rapid gloves and willow cap ring.

did you level up this way as well or shooting from range ?

I was just looking for a 3rd weapon to add to my midnight blade build. I’ve only leveled bows with pure dex and it was poo poo. I made a crit build with dex and faith. That was the first time I felt bows didn’t suck. Since the midnight blade build ended up hitting crit cap, I thought I’d mess with the dex int bows too. Pale ash is ok, but it wasn’t giving me anything new or different. The homing arrows were cool, but only shooting one arrow at a time after using the lacquered bow so much was meh.
