'time-gating' feedback

So overall I like the idea of time being valuable and it being used as a resource is cool, though what if it’s made more diegetic by tying it to the game’s day/night cycle instead of irl time? Could maybe lessen the ‘artificial’ feel that some people complain about when they see it will take x amount of minutes or hours. I guess it would make the length of time it takes to complete more vague unless it is someshow communicatetd. Or something like that, idk just shower thoughts.
