The game was much more fun before the breach

both item affixes and combat gave more options to structure the character, it was just a matter of working on the balance.
as happened on poe2 they destroyed the game to follow “the vision”

I’ve been seeing folks talk about this before the breach. Color me intrigued because I too felt differences. Once I got my equipment enchanted and a weapon upgrade the game felt much better as they always did before. So what specifically did they change? I don’t notice the changes at all once I’ve gotten past the beach and I’m confused why that is.

You know the game before the breach is also their “the vision” right lol. Whatever we have right now is not at all final, let them test things.

no, it wasn’t really their “vision” since they basically changed all the item affixes and all the focus mechanics as stated several times on discord.
ea came out a year ago with great feedback, obviously there were things to balance but players basically asked for one thing: “more story content” and not “the rune and focus mechanics suck”..
two updates were made, one basically useless on the crucible and the breach… just open the steam player count and read all the complaints to understand that the direction taken is not the right one.. then if you like it it means you’ll play it alone
