The game does not start on the steam deck after the second hotfix. Also, the text in the crafting or exploration categories is not displayed when playing in Russian.Also, the text in the crafting or exploration categories is not displayed when playing in Russian.

When you try to start the game, it loads, a few numbers appear in the corner of the screen for a second, and then everything closes without giving any error.

Hey Fillllllll,

Does this happen with all workstations? So also at the workbench, or the tailor’s table?

Could you please submit some files for us? We need Datastore, Player.log and Player-prev.log :wink:

They are here:

  • Go into Desktop mode

  • Open the file browser

  • at the bottom in the devices section, follow this path

    • /Home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1371980/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/Moon Studios/NoRestForTheWicked/

Greetings, thanks for the reply. Yes, it’s the same in all crafting and exploration windows.
Here is a link to my disk with two files. Which files should I dump from the “Datastore” folder, or how should I share the whole folder?

Zip the file or upload it in its entirey and add it to the shared location link.

Hi Fillllllll,

Are you still having issues on the steamdeck? Try forcing the compatibility options to Proton 10 or some other version ( select the game in library → Properties → Compatibility → check the “Force the use …” option → select Proton 10). We’ve had the same issue on other LInux distributions and this seems to have fixed it.

No, it was possible to launch the game after reinstalling the program, but the problem with the text remained after launching with forced compatibility.

Last time, I’ve forced the compatibility mode to Proton 10.0-4 and it worked fine. I change it tonight to other versions to see if it would better but now it only works with Proton-cachyos-10.0 (20260101) but the performance isn’t as good as 10.0-4. (before having this startup crash) I saw wine tried to install mono which was weird.
