TL;DR The game looks amazing and I can’t wait to see become a smash hit! Consider rewording steam copy/paste dev feedback for great success and many internet points.
In browsing Steam review feedback I see all dev responses include a copy/paste message requesting feedback be relisted here.
In a cooperate world where almost no one says what they really want, what they really mean and are cagey with actual intentions this can be deciphered in so many ways many of which are potentially negative you may want to consider rewording this or let down the veil a tiny bit and communicate what you really wish to the customer.
If the feedback was really important and you wanted on the forums (as stated), whomever typed that reply could just as easily copy/pasted the review there just as easily as responding to it.
If you want people to join the community on the forums for any number of reasons then say so. ‘Please join our community on the game forums where x,y,z’
If you are simply just clicking on certain Steam reviews to display some engagement of reviews there by all means carry on with what you are doing.
However when you state that something is ‘extremely valuable’ and then publicly request addition effort on the part of the person that already provided it freely it comes across rather perplexing to all parties. If you wished to display to the customer and public that something was in-fact of high value one might expect to see a show of reciprocal effort in good faith. This could be shown in any number of ways such as '‘I found this feedback very helpful so I am sharing it with the team (or posting this feedback on the forums) for engagement.’ If you want to build a community on the forums and want to players to join and engage game discussion there extend an invitation: ‘and in addition we would love if you would join us on the official forums etc, etc.’
I created a forum account just now to I could share the above and hopefully offer some useful awareness and not offend. I’ve half the mind to delete this because so many people can seem to take things the wrong way these days and the medium of text is so hard to relay intent.
Please forgive my poor English and I wish you all the very best!
