Ring of Determination no longer correctly converts missing Focus cost into Life for instant-cast Focus runes.
Important:
This used to work properly before, but stopped functioning after the update released following the Free Weekend.
Expected Behavior
When Focus is insufficient (or empty), Glacial Spike and Repair should still activate by consuming Life instead, as described in the ring tooltip.
Actual Behavior
When Focus reaches 0, both Glacial Spike and Repair cannot be cast(it doesnt recognize the hybrid use of focus+health).
(in the pic u can see that the total amount of focus and health should leave me use the repair rune and its only counting the overall focus as progres to cast on the bottom left part)
UI / Resource Override Behavior
The Focus bar does not blink when attempting to cast, suggesting the game partially recognizes the ring override (as if an alternative resource exists).
However, the rune still fails to activate, and it appears the cost system may now only allow one resource at a time (Focus OR Life), rather than properly substituting missing Focus with Life.
Additionally, the rune UI briefly shows the Focus bar refilling almost to full, as if the game is attempting to resolve the cost incorrectly.
Additional Note
The ring still works correctly with continuous/channeling runes, where Life is consumed properly once Focus runs out.
This seems to specifically affect instant-cost runes like Glacial Spike and Repair.

Slot Glacial Spike (weapon rune) and/or any rune with more focus cost than your actual focus
Drain Focus almost completely
Attempt to cast either rune
Rune fails to activate
