Researched blueprints dont show up on workbenches

Please everyone here:

  • make sure your merchants are at lvl 3
  • make sure you have it researched, and are at the correct workstation (wooden shields for example are crafted at the workbench, because it’s wood)
  • remove any anvil/sewing table/workbench from your homes, and re-visit the merchant’s workstation.
  • check if you can now craft your recipes again

Let me know the results!

Silas

Interesting, thanks for the report guys.

Can you both share your files? How to Properly Report Bugs!

This will be helpful locating this issue!

Silas

Thanks for the reply Silas. Illa be honest. Im lost on the wetransfer portion of this to send you the files you are requesting. I have the path and files copied to be sent but Im not sure how to send them to you,. Ill keep trying.

NRFTW

Nice, you did everything correct!

Silas

Thanks Silas but what now? I cant craft anything (it only allows me to craft tools) and I cant upgrade my smithy to lv 3? Im trying to verify my game files now. What do I do?

Gotta wait for a fix!

If you can fix this on your own by verify or anything else, please let us know here. I haven’t heard much of this bug yet so I have no solutions yet either, sorry

Start a new Realm as well?

Silas

I verified the files - No luck at all. Starting a new realm is a lot of work for a casual lol. Please let me know what other work arounds are available to try. I cant find anything else. Certainly there has to be a few other options for me to try and troubleshoot.

Hey Gaylord,

Can you allow us access? To do so:

  • Right click the folder/files → share → share (again) → set “Restricted” to “Anyone with the link” and permission on “Viewer”

Appreciate it!

Silas

No solutions. Interestingly enough - We were able to upgrade it to level three but as the Realm owner I was not able to do that - My brother who I invited was able to use materials but unfortunately - it still does not allow me to craft even after he upgraded it to lv 3.

What is going on!!??? I cant craft and therefor I CANT upgrade my gear as needed to progress. Starting a whole new realm seems like a terrible work around - and no idea if it will just happen again.

Thoughts? Thanks for checking back

Hm I have a long shot for you.

Can you please remove your own anvil/workbench in your house? Take it back to your inventory and don’t place it.

@Gaylord Eleanor is at level 3 if you see her ladder present, so she is already at that level

Don’t pour any more materials in that upgrade, it’s bugged where it just doesn t show up as fully completed.

Silas

I checked in last night and the anvil in my home was back to normal. Same as the one at the blacksmith.

So you can craft now? Nothing bugged anymore?

Silas

I’m assuming Crude Anvil’s can’t make shields and I would need the Forged Anvil since the Forged Anvil at the Blacksmith has a few more options for me. But I am no longer getting the wrong menu, so far so good!
This bug happened the moment I finally added an anvil to my home. I’m progressing another character to see if the same thing happens.

Please everyone here.

If recipes are not showing for you, go to your home(s) and remove the workstation that isn’t working for you, for example the anvil.

If you return to the correct merchant (Fillmore in this case), it should now display properly.

Some people have find this fixed after a while, but nothing conclusive so far.

Try different combinations where you place your workstation back, and see if the UI is fixed.

Let me know what works for you!

Silas

This topic will be merged into Researched blueprints dont show up on workbenches - #50 by Twisted soon, depending on the answers I get there.

Silas

Got another character to a point where I could craft a Crude Anvil, no issues found.

Interesting, it might be hotfixed at this point (but players who triggered it would not know) or it’s something do to with the very first anvil a player places.

Thanks for the follow up!

Silas

Doing this seemed to fix my problem. More specifically, I

  • removed the anvil from my home
  • researched a weapon at Danos’ scribe table
  • went to Filmore and checked his anvil (everything was there, when before there wasn’t)
  • placed the anvil back in the home and checked (everything was there, when before there wasn’t)

Thanks for the suggestions @Silas-Inservio-Pax!
