The player stops receiving experience once at level 30, but the experience bar just stays at 0/8223 suggesting that more levels should be possible to attain. Either the level cap should be removed / extended - or the UI should make it clear that no more experience gain is possible once the cap is reached
(Personally, I very much would prefer being able to get more levels, even if the XP requirements become ridiculous)
I think it’s pretty apparent when you don’t gain exp when you kill a guy, but perhaps they could shade it in or make it lower opacity and remove the 8223.
It’s hard to believe that the actual last level of the game is 30 since it’s Pre Release. I’m sure it’s going to get higher on final product, cuz… we haven’t even scratched the customizing armor and weapons mechanics.
We’ve only been able to get chipped versions of items, there are higher density items so I’m sure it’s going to get updated in the next section update.
You know it’s early access?

I would think it would get higher, but the builds are pretty insanely op for a souls game. Unless they make much, much more resistant bosses, by the time a character is level 30 you just stun lock them. At least that’s my experience so far. With some more practice I think I can get to the point where I beat the crucible with a level 10 character. I know it’s just stage of several, but by 30 you have infinite focus and unless they make bosses take many times more hits to be frozen or stunned, infinite focus means near infinite stun.
I think stagger needs revamped. I’ve seen so many videos of dudes rocking dual daggers stun locking the bosses, while people with 2H weapons struggle to get off a hit, this seems a little backwards.
