Radiant embers before exalting?

Really enjoying the game. I just want to ask about the sequence of maxing out gear. Is it important to max out the enchantment buff (via radiant embers) before exalting?

The idea being that exalting will multiply the enchantment buff’s base number, so it’s better to maximize the base. Or will it be the same to exalt first then use radiant embers later?

Hi Deizy, glad to hear it!

There is no need to use radiants before exalting, the optimized strategy is actually to exalt first so that if the exalt hits an enchantment that you don’t really care for, you can start over sooner without having to spend those radiant embers in the first place.

If the exalting process does hit the enchantments you want you can radiant however you like and there is no lost power in doing it in that sequence.

A Guide To Embers and Exalting So You Don't Waste Them

Just thought I would share some of the things I learned the hard way so you don’t have to. Fallen Embers They either re-roll an enchant or add a missing one. In my opinion, these have exactly one use - re-rolling negative plagued enchants. Don’t waste them on anything else because you can easily spend upwards of 20 embers just trying to roll the specific plague enchant you want.
