Radiant ember stat% display for comfortable min maxing

im always keeping a radiant ember in my inventory and im spending a lot of time using it to check the percentual values of the enchantments on the items. then talking to vendor, selling three items, then forgetting which items i wanted to keep, and checking with radiant again, … same with storage.

would be great to see the number if we press “alt” or stick-click or LT on controller or sth, to be able to see these values of the items while sorting them into a chest or during interaction with a vendor.

This would be useful, agreed.

Yes we need something like this. At least show the 85% and higher enchantments with a litle indicator.

i get the idea, but remembering 1000 numbers and percentages just isn’t what I play games for, its not valuable friction to make you leave the game to be able to play the game. it breaks immersion, it takes you out of flow, it puts walls for people with weak numerical memory in places that dont enhance the gameplay experience in the slightest. at least for me it doesnt ^^ if i want to do maths i play poe, if i want to play a videogame i play wicked or soulsgames or metroidvanias. i guess it depends on the devs vision. should people spend time inside of your game or should they feel the need to exit the game to enjoy the game? should the game be accessible and the information that IS THERE IN THE GAME be visible or inaccessible or behind extra steps, just because dont be lazy in your spare time?

one thing id have to add to this aswell: i come from “old” videogames just like you propably. i will do the thing. over and over. even if i hate it in concept, and im weak in remembering numbers, but i expect new and younger players that are growing up with so much quality of life stuff, or people with low tolerance for that sorta thing will get pissed or filtered. i dont think the game gains from that sort of friction, i think its bad friction.

u mean the 1.0 release? ^^ yeah i trust them to find a good spot for those things. i know they added the difficulty settings for accessibility reasons, i didnt want to say this but this is kinda an accessibility thing aswell.
