I’m playing No Rest for the Wicked with my friends, and we’re a group of 6 players who really want to enjoy the game together. Unfortunately, the current online realm player limit is capped at 4 players.
It would be amazing if the maximum online player count could be increased to at least 6 players, or allow more then 4 invites but max 4 online. it least they can join when someone logout. Being able to add more than 4 players to a single realm would make the co-op experience much more enjoyable.
This isn’t just my issue I’ve seen many players on Reddit asking for the same thing and wanting larger groups to play together.
I really hope you consider this as future feedback, because the game is great and this change would make it even better for friends who want to experience it together.
As much as I agree with increasing the realms player limit.
The biggest issue is preformence its not as simple as just increasing that limit to 6.
As well as can the engin handle more than 4 players on a realm at the same time.
Generally there’s a reason for having player limits in games like this. Biggest issue balancing. Adding 2 more would require balancing to be done. As well as the other issues I bring up
Other is housing I haven’t played co op yet. If I remember right there’s only 4 houses to buy. And players afaik can’t live in the same house
So what would the other 2 players live in or even store items in. Adding more homes to buy isnt as simple as slapping them into sacrament
Increasing this yes would be a great thing its just more work than simply changing realm player count values from 4 to 6
