A friend and I were playing, we got disconnected a few times as per usual, and all of the sudden when I tried to check my inventory, it was beyond full, overflowing the slots I had available. I was quick to realise that this was not just my inventory, and asked my friend to check his. He had a similar issue, and it was clear we were somehow seeing eachother inventory or something similar to that.

This only happened to the weapons/armours inventory and not the rest, as far as I understood. We tried to reload the game, and it still happened, but a bit later, my inventory got fixed, and he stopped seeing what I had, but he could still see stuff he didn’t have, and when he tried to put them in a chest, most of the items wouldn’t move. That’s when we understood it was a shared chest as well, and we went to the rookery (in the screenshot my inventory will be a mess again because it happened again).

So far, we haven’t found a fix for this. The items in the inventory are equipable… by both players.. at the same time, but for some reason show duplicated in the inventory as well (with the arrow icon for the slot, I guess). We can’t put the duplicated item in the chest, but if we take the item from the chest, we can put both in and duplicate them eternally, even sell them.
On the first linked image, you can see that the bow in my inventory is also equipped (with the controller symbol), and on the one below, both of us are using the same bow, while the original is still in the chest.
I’ll just sleep this one out and hope for a miracle. Seems a mess even to understand. It is by far the biggest bug I’ve found in the test. If it isn’t fixed by itself next time I join, I’ll just put everything in one chest and pretend this never happened.
