I think you meant to say player investment which in this case is instilled already by the fact that you spent time gathering the required resources. The useless wait time is redundant.
I didn’t say fast travel everywhere, only between the whispers, same as in Elden Ring for example. And just to explain to you how ill thought your argument is in this particular case, the end result is always “go smash now”, “go gather now” or what ever the objective of the game is. There is no added value or experience to me as a player after I’ve been on the same beaten trail 100 times. If you like to go virtual sight seeing that’s your choice, no one is forcing you to fast travel.
The rest of your message is just mumbo jumbo, wont dignify that with a response.
If you’re on Windows, you might try opening process manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) with the executable open, right click and then click “go to details” and then in the details panel, right click the process and set priority to “real-time” or “high” - if it’s intermittent you may have some background processes that interfere with the game’s utilization and that may help. I’ve had similar issues in certain games. Some other processes I see that might be related:
Hey, thanks a lot for the advice, i really wish it would help , i actually tried this after i wrote the last message here having the same thought process as you lol but to no success. My pc is pretty beefy, i doubt it its on my end. Also when i said its intermittent i didn’t mean that sometimes its absent. Its always there but less noticeable. I don’t know, i hope they fix it. It was worth a shot though, i appreciate it. Thx
For what it’s worth, I think they must have fixed a lot of the issues you were having. I only got it two weeks ago and I’ve had none of the problems that a lot of people experienced when it first launched. Almost no frame rate drop. Maybe 1 small area for a couple seconds in the entire time I played. Combat was really fluid on everything I tried. Movement very fluid. I’ve been pushing it to my friends recently as one of the best games I’ve played in a decade.
I’d definitely check it out at its current stage if I were you. I’m not even a souls fan, but this was an amazing game. 35 hours over the 3 days I played with 3 characters. It’s short at this point, but they haven’t even added the second act yet.
