But I don’t want to reroll a charac, I fully advance it and don’t want to waste my time to reroll again. If you don’t have a real idea, don’t troll again please.
For those who still want a solution, you can glitch through the door, rolling a attacking and you can go through it
The enemy that drops the water channel key doesn’t spawn and the door that’s opened by that key can passed throught by roll and interact spaming.
Got the bug too. And glitching / rolling through the door isn’t working for me. 
Same problem here, no spawn boss…no key.. sad.
Same here. No boss = no key. Help!
I had to start from a backup before entering the dungeon. Got the boss, got the key
Im going to try staying logged in and let the fog of war cover the map again and see if the boss will respawn. Can’t think of any other option to finish story other than restarting and who’s to say it wont happen again. 
Update: i came back to the spot after the FOW respawned and mobs came back, still nothing.
I got the same Problem. The Boss just didnt spawn. Lets wait for answers.
Update: i made another realm, ran through the quest and the mini boss mob was there. Lost progress on town but can get through story now 
this has been hotfixed!

So i didnt check yet but they dropped a patch today where they moved the key over to a chest. Hopefully it works!

same issue. can anyone tell me where that chest is supposed to be for the new key location?
In the Black Trench, i obtained the first key in the sewer ‘hall’, climbed back up past the whisper and unlock the door west of entance. After getting both levers pulled to access straight across i beat the elite or boss at the top of the stairs and either missed it or never got a key for the room right after the second red ‘draw’ bridge. I was able to climb up the pipes and cross them to get to the next area to the east and south of the whisper, but still havent gotten the Water Channel Key.
I also dont know if you can or now, but the foor immediately to the right of the entance that is like cell bars, i dont have a key for that neither.

The key no longer drops from the colossus. It’s looted from the chest in the middle of the room.
Devs changed it, because people had issues with the mob appearing altogether.

The chest that has the water channel key is invisible and not openable. Progress ending bug, and what I have googled, has not been fixed for awhile, since the beginning.
Anyway to continue?
Update: I think the chest is invisible, I can’t walk across the drain
