Yes, they have a lot on their plate at the moment. If you measure this game by the standards of a properly released game, the game’s imperfect features and bugs could be considered a disaster. They need more time and effort to perfect their ambitious vision.
For some reason when i open a chest i don’t see my third weapon slots it was even before the crucible patch, but after that now i see empty slots with 20 of something

So I have 3-mainhand slots & 2-offhand slots but when I go to a chest to deposit my items, the chest UI can only see 2-mainhand & 2-offhand. I’m missing a mainhand slot
Changing out weapons in my 3rd-mainhand slot doesn’t fix the bug either

moved some reports of the same issue here, to collect them in one place

I have all slots unlocked, but when I open storage or interact with merchants they appear locked still.
I would like to add a case, the same happens to me, but it happened because I unlocked the slot in a second realm and in the main it is blocked, I’m not sure if it’s the same for those who reported the bug
