Patch Notes - Early Access Patch 1

Congratulations on the great game you are creating and continually making adjustments to.
I would put some points on the table, I don’t know if it will be the correct way but for example:

  1. That there are more crafting recipes, especially for weapons
  2. “weapon upgrades” materials to change their scaling focus, type: Weapon X that scales with strength and can be changed to dexterity
  3. Use the ichor to remember more whispers and thus have a little more usefulness for the TP and so that it is not so limited
In advance, thank you very much for the great game you are enjoying.

Am i the only one who doesn’t like the crafting from storage idea??
I had my house laid out with chests next to the ‘machine’ for the items required, i.e metals in chest next to furnace, this made sense…

And also i didn’t have a problem going to the fillmore, seeing what i needed then going to get it from my house and then go back - it’s a minute of a job really and honestly it seems like pure laziness and spoon feeding which all could have been sorted by bigger inventories.

For me this actually removes some of the immersion from the game, but then i’m a hoarder and happy to spend a while grinding for a game i am loving.

Oh and yes, runes in weapons tab?? why??? change that back please
Also seems some of the entering door animations has gone i.e entering the war room no longer opens the door

Maybe, I am using a PS5 controller.

Absolutely stellar work by the team here. Love seeing the passion, can’t wait to get back in and test this stuff. GGs!

To many NERFS! the game is hard enough already!!!

Excellent work with the patch!

I know it’s too early for another game to “Wicked-like”, and maybe it will take some time. But, a lot of developers need to be like you.

While I admire the work put up and the balance changes and all, I can’t oversee that a respec idea is more needed now than ever.
I’ve made several characters in order to achieve a certain archetype or fantasy, and now they seem “broken” given the balance and recent changes to item requirements and stamina.

The fact that there are so many performance changes, only proves that the game is developed with the idea that it can be played by as many players as possible, and that is the REAL win of a mindset to have!

Cheers!

I feel you should die from getting knocked out of/rolling off the map, but I think any rune abilities shouldn’t send you flying off ledges with deadly falls but instead stop you right at the deadly ledge, much like Elden Ring if I remember correctly?

We are looking into edge detection for attacks

Nice! Many thanks :pray:t2:

Here’s a take that I think most people won’t agree with. I don’t think respec needs to be like something we all wish for. Penalties for it should be HARSH in my opinion… Like if you want to respec points, it should come with like needing to level down. Sort of like in Last Epoch.

Say im Lvl 30… and I wan to respec. I have the option to go back down to lvl 20, and gain back 10 points. Choices matter and rolling an alt IS NOT HARD at all.

I’m okay with respec being hard to come by and possibly only a limited amount of times per character / realm / whatever.

But right now the weapon stat requirements are very high, and they can’t be used at all unless you have those requirements. That combined with no respec makes it difficult for me to even tell which weapons I might want to use.

Well if that is the case is you wanted it like that then they should increase the cap because right now the weapon requirements are really high and we need more points. Period

Hey, great job! Love the new shortcut through the mountain by the way. Clear you guys are cleaning up and getting new areas ready! So please don’t take the following rant the wrong way.

For the love of all that is wicked, sell us our resources again. I’ve been through and upgraded two characters to level 21 in one day (yes I’m insane by the way) and I’ve barely seen hide or hair of any of the wool garments and soft leather. Not even the raw materials to make them. Silver too. And bear claws, and stag hooves. Sell these things to us at a higher price if you must. Or even make a limit for how many the vender has per day! I’ve resorted to hunting down resources through seven realms by upgrading my general goods store fully, and even he has barely enough scraps for me to upgrade a new armor set. Because I have memorized the path to every dig spot and pick up everything along the way to get resources I’m filthy rich and I can’t spend a thing on the stores other than the general store because none of them have anything for me to buy now. Like how did I end up with 80 silver in three hours!?

See what I mean? Not meant to be rude just a balancing issue.

Where I am supposed to farm for leather upgrades now? It is going to take ages now…

Kinda seems pointless to reroll for skills and demote yourself. Rather there should be a resource guarded by a big scary boss that allows you to respec and it only respawns weekly. Yeah?

Regarding the bow, I think their intent was to see if they couldn’t get players to fucus on more stamina points for bow users and focus points for mage users. Not saying I agree with the idea given what you had to say seems legit.

when is this patch going to be released? Did it already release or am i an idiot? I dont see a date for when this patch is/was released?
