pretty sure u are stuck at the same spot, am i right? if so, go to towards the bottom right of your screen from these screenshots (roughly). there will be an area with exploding guys that turn into worms and slithering siren amphibians or whatever. there should be half of a wooden bridge to the very right. drop down from there into the water. swim and continue exploring.
