As I have come to learn 1.0 is going to reset everything anyways, I think its the right choise to shelft this game for now, and perhaps come back later.

The reset is unconfirmed so is more of a theory. Multiplayer beta characters for example were not deleted. 1.0 has not been promised for this year either, but is a possibility.

A reset might still be necessary, unless they rework or make every legacy enchant they removed available again and add it to the pool, as of now i feel it feels a little bit empty when choosing enchantments and sure this might increase complaints but i like when i know there is more and i mean much! (The enchantments has gone from alot to a few and very little to the mainstream focus)

Nevertheless i will keep playing the game anyway, because i havent had this fun for a long time and whatever vision moon studios has in store for us i will keep playing this game!(ofc im still taking breaks to not burnout)

We will most certainly wipe before 1.0 hits, so that everyone starts fresh at the official 1.0 release.
Aight. Good thing there is still plenty of time before then. Have quite the stash built up 
. I regularly do new play throughs without any help from it anyway, so a wipe won’t be so bad. It’s fun for things to be precious again. A lot of my buddies have stopped playing as well since reaching end game and maximizing one build. A wipe would give me more playtime with them

I’m sorry for your loss and feel your pain as I accidentally sold my favorite weapon (esentially destroyed it) awhile back. It motivated me to create a mod to prevent that in the future. If you’re ok using mods you can alleviate that issue (and others) by checking out Nexus Mods.
