My Thorough Feedback About The Game After 60 Hours

I’ve got about 60 hours in the game and I love it so far and having a ton of fun, but I see room for improvements for various things.

  • Fishing/Mining/Lumberjacking UI HUD pop up gets lost sometimes with the background being too similar with the green blending in at times. It also changes sizes (sometimes large which is good or too small) depending on positioning which can throw me off so I wish it was more of a consistent size. The green/red meter of it was confusing when I started, as I didn’t know you were supposed to aim for the RED, but I did get used to that in general. I just wish the HUD UI popped out a little better when it appears while farming mats. Screenshot example:

  • Quality of Life (QoL) change - I wish stat ranges for weapons stats appeared when you held down a button on your keyboard/controller in game. I find myself alt-tabbing out of the game to look up item stats quite often which is taking away from my game play. It’s hard to know if you have a good stat roll on an item when you don’t know the range and have to look it up externally. This would be an amazing change if added.   • In Options, Map tab does not display Whisper location names. I hope you guys add names to them so we get a better understanding of where certain places are on the map when doing Daily/Weekly Bounties/Challenges. Screenshot example:

  • Weekly/Daily Bounties/Challenges are hard to track, I wish there was a button that took you straight to the map and shows you where each bounty is. Screenshot example:

  • Ladders/climb downs obstacles sometimes don’t lock on and you end up jumping off the cliff on accident. I have died A LOT to this. I could not imagine making it very far on hardcore since 95% of my deaths are usually fall damage, haha.

  • The controls to place furniture in your home is absolutely dreadful. I feel like this needs an overhaul. If it wasn’t locked to character movement circling until you get it right, it would be great. I wish we could just move the furniture individually and rotate it to put where you could place it easily. Also, I don’t think snap currently works right now. Would love if this was fixed up!

  • QoL change: Ability to teleport directly to your player friend in game. I simply ask for this one, because I remember making it past a jump obstacle, and waiting while my brother well to his death about 10x times. lol, it was funny the first 5 times, but then it just became a waiting game for him to catch up. The falling and dying in Marin Woods jump puzzles is no joke (hehe)!

  • QoL change: Please add the ability to mark items, such as “Mark As Junk“ and “Mark As Favorite“. This would be great too if you could quick sell all the marked as Junk stuff.

  • There is no in game voice chat. My Uncle was asking about this one, though we can always just do Discord. I thought I would note it since he asked.

  • Lastly, and you probably get this one a lot: Latency of areas and mixed spell effects - Electric quiver and extra explosions with fire I will get spikes of lag. I have turned down the effects in my options to handle it the best I can. I am running this game on my Alienware i7-11800H @2.30GHz, 8 Cores laptop with a decent graphics card and it runs okay but not great. All the wind effects with the sunflower movement in the southern zone really hit my system hard, so I wish I could turn that down somehow. I do want to note that I play Dune: Awakening and Warframe with less issues on this standpoint. I know how beautiful it is with all these effects but it’s quite a lot for a decent system.

I love the Zelda style puzzles and co-oping with my siblings on this great adventure you have created so far! I did end up losing my personal server at one point, which I reported on bugs page, and I know you guys are working hard to fix issues like that as well. I hope this constructive feedback ends up improving the game in the long run.

There is one but its in the Bounties/Challenges/Quest menu you click the bounty and it takes you there on the map..

Just a reminder this is just my guess:
If it took you straight to map from the menu in the picture i believe it would end interaction with the NPC and then you would have to interact with the NPC all over again?

(of course can probably be coded to function like you suggest without any major issues atleast or they might have to rework the menu’s and such as a whole which im not implying would be impossible to do for them)

All in all Very Good Feedback as there are many points i Agree with :+1: :wink:
