My character died due to having an enchanted weapon that takes away 15% of my health. However the weapon went from enchanted to “blue rare.” The penalty was no longer listed on the weapon. And even when I unequipped it the negative buff was still there. I even changed weapons completely and went weaponless and tried to heal myself but the negative buff was there. I kept trying to fix it buy unequipping it and trying different weapons. Then all of a sudden my character lost all his stamina and just died I was climbing a vine but I only fell 2 or 3 feet no where near death height and my character repeatedly fell and then he was just dead. I don’t have a screen shot as after I died I was just taken to the main menu.
Doesn’t sound like the weapon had anything to do with it. You fell, and took enough fall damage to kill you. I’m sorry for your lost Hardcore save, better luck in future attempts
