Food
For the food situation, I’m more leaning towards agreeing with what the developers have done for healing. To be honest I think that it makes food a lot more precious and valuable and I really dig that. However I think healing could use a tiny bit of a boost because on those boss battles especially when you don’t know the fight you often run out. But to be totally fair there’s plenty of food around and you can go farm other areas.
My most tame solution and I think it would actually be straight up an improvement to what we have now and would reduce the amount of complaints would be to give us health regen. Like just give us some base health regen of 1hp per second out of combat. That’s 60 HP a minute, it’s not insane or anything but still quite impactful. The number an be tweaked and you could go beyond that and add an enchantment that increases your health regen by “x” %.
I think a minor tweak like that could go a long way and tbh I think you’re being a bit too stingy with your food which is unfortunate because it probably ruins your experience a little bit.
Im curious, if you had HP regen would you be a bit less stingy? I mean it doesn’t really fix the issue you have with bosses but do you have another solution? I’m sure the devs would like to know.
Another idea could be to add healing in the boss battles themselves. destroy tumor, get a bit of hp back, or something like that
Runes
Yeah I think we should be able to remove runes, simple. I don’t see any good reason to keep runes stuck as they are other than give it an additional cost to the player that I find unnecessary. If you want to tax the player just make us pay to remove it from the slot.
NOW, FOR THE MORE INTERESTING ISSUE. STATS & WEAPONS
I absolutely agree that Stats should be changed; I don’t think the current way allows for much build variety at all, and I think the weapon requirements really kill experimentation especially for new players.
