I would really like to see more utility-based stamina runes in the game. Runes like a:
1 Jump Rune - jump in the direction you’re facing
2 back flip Rune - do a long backflip ( possible to jump over enemies)
3 graple/Release/Throw Rune - Grab and release/throw an enemy
The main point being ways to engage in more movement whilst in combat. Currently you have some rune attacks that doge and attack. But I think the stamina system has way more capacity to let you move around dynamically in the fight. Often, if you get surrounded, you are either just going ham on the attack or waiting for the parry/block.
More ways to move through your enemies and reposition yourself would I think, make the combat even better. This is the only part of the combat that feels static. And if you have more ways to move than maybe so do your enemies, or you can have enemies that can try to perform strategies, actually strategies, when they outnumber you.
thats a clever way of adding a jump button indeed for those who need it. before the ledge protection came i used the Leap rune and Lightning leap runes to jump up to higher or lower places..
The stamina runes could use some extra benefit. Like if you do a drop kick it does more stagger damage and if it does do more stagger damage clearly label it.
This is an excellent idea. Traversal runes and unique abilities tied to runes in general would be nice, and having stamina alternatives to the focus ones is great as well.
We have blink for focus, but a leap for stamina? Yes please!
